A 34 minute film discussing small size Finnish traditional axes. The Roselli Axe is portrayed as a traditional Finnish axe, and as an effective woodcutting tool while camping or at the summer cottage. This program will look at some 18th and 19th century Finnish carpentry axes which seem to have influenced the design of the Roselli Axe. The Roselli Axe is also put to a quick field test together with another traditional Finnish axe, the Billnäs 12:3 axe during a autumn dayhike. The film was recorded at the Local History Museum in Pargas, Finland and in the scenic archipelago of Southwestern Finland. Skäri - Living Heritage 2015.
