On July 25, a severe storm hit the city of Oradea in Romania. An unprecedented storm has caused havoc in a city that is not used to such harsh weather. It was an extreme weather event similar to a tornado. The local weather station recorded a maximum wind speed of 144 km/h. Strong winds caused significant damage to the city. Traffic was blocked due to fallen trees. Also, the wind blew roofs and damaged the facades of buildings. Dozens of cars were damaged. One person was reported injured as a result of a broken window.
