Which makes the creation of digital humans so challenging and time consuming. A essential role in making human skin look believable are the skin pores and micro wrinkles which have a very specific directionality. Traditionally the workflow for creating those pores would consists of either projecting scanned displacement maps or manually sculpting the pores, both quite labor intensive workflows.
