Day one of our travels day down to the south of England. Had a great walk upon the Staines Moor, taking in the scenery of the wetlands and seeing the wildlife which inhabits it. It was a lovely walk across the in the scorching hot sun and we stopped and chatted for an about hour with a lady who lives locally in Staines. Staines Moor is a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey. It is part of the South West London Waterbodies Ramsar site and a Special Protection Area The Moor is a nice area to go for a walk/hike and it's amazing that it's such a grand area of untouched wildland with it being located in London.
