In the 18th-Century, composers like J.S. Bach, . Bach, J.M. Hotteterre, and G. Ph. Telemann wrote their famous works for solo flute that consisted of several movements. But also a plethora of single movement compositions for solo flute have been published, composed by a.o. Johann Martin Blockwitz, Pierre Évrard Taillart, Jean Daniel Braun en Antoine Mahaut. With great pleasure I performed a small selection from this, partly unknown, eighteenth century repertoire. This piece can be found in: 34 Pieces pour flûte seule Flute solos from the 18th century, selected by Rien de Reede UE Universal Edition (Wien)
