Warden Gragas! I didnโt expect I would return to this theme for the next splash after Kalista. This time Iโm on good side. It was tricky posing Gragas because he is so huge and his hands are out of proportion. I was initially worried to do a low camera angle because it will not showcase his helmet design well but thanks a lot to Mingchen for the PO sketch for still making it work. I redid him in the thumbnail sketch like 4 times but it was worth it because the rendering stage went smoother. One thing I learned when doing this is to really push the highlights even if they seem a bit too blown out. It really helped enhance the epicness of the piece. Something I struggled with was the shockwaves which I redrew like 5 times. Every time there was a revision, I had to redo the shockwaves because they depended on what was underneath.
