#GabrielJeeg WORLD, when will you realize that the truth is more precious than gold? Aren’t We Human. I composed this melody while personally feeling the impact of war nearby and being aware of the senseless deaths throughout human history. Claes Lilja wrote the haunting lyrics, which express the pain that I was feeling inside. Together, I hope the melody and words will invoke hope despite many of the ways that we humans are both responsible for and victims of destructive actions. I still believe that deep inside we are all wanting the best for everyone in our heart of hearts. Seeing the unnecessary suffering in the world makes me wonder what it really means to be human. Are we not all one species? Is this planet not our only home? I wish for what many have longed for throughout the years: Let’s lay down our arms, come together, and spread love and kindness!
