Inside her newest album, called “bird in a cage“, Patty Larkin expresses her admiration of poetry: “The poet names the ephemeral, Identifies the bird in flight. This project is my way of holding brilliance in my hand.“ The first track from that project is written around a poem by William Carlos Williams, and inspires the name of the album itself.
