Arlington PD Officers Help Wrangle Dozens of Escaped Goats That Went For a Stroll

File this one under “Only in Texas“! On Tuesday, Feb 27, 2024, Arlington PD officers responded to Brown Blvd near Winding Hollow Ln after we were notified that a large herd of goats was wandering through a neighborhood there. The City of Arlington partnered with a company to bring the goats to the nearby Crystal Canyon Natural Area to clear underbrush and invasive plant species, which will help reduce fire danger in the area. A group of the goats managed to escape from their enclosure at the park -- and apparently decided to go for a stroll.
