The IYTA (International Yezidi Theological Academy) has been teaching Yezidi theologians since . For the first time in the history of the Yezidi, specialists in Yezidi theology are trained at an academic level and in cooperation with a state university. In the first year, the course includes the subjects Introduction to Religious Studies, Yezidi Theology, History of the Middle East, Psychology and Language Teaching for Arabic and English. In addition, ethnology and sociology are taught in progressive semesters.
