Nagorno-Karabakh: Talysh residents flee despite ceasefire deal

Residents of the village of Talysh in the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh continued to flee their homes amid ongoing hostilities between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, Wednesday. Residents say they still fear for their lives despite the ceasefire that was announced on Tuesday between the warring parties, after four days of fighting. One local named Garik said “we have already taken away our children, now we need to take some things. We want our children to be safe. We had no place to sleep here.“
