In January 2000 four guys from the small town Borlдnge/Sweden formed a band called KNOUT, and about four months later they found a singer in Niklas Franzen from Avesta, And the setting was complete. Their first demo “69 Stitches“ was released in june includes three songs. The first demo was recorded only a few days after Niklas had joined, so all vocals was made in a real Hurry. After 69 stitches the guys made a few gigs but held a low profile (laziness!). But in january 2001 they entered the studio to record demo number two “Cuckoo Phobia“. Eight songs was made on that one, and the guys had some time on this demo.
