The Nashkovas were Ukranian refugees who escaped their war torn homeland for a better life, and graciously volunteered to help tell a story which shares many parallels to their experience. FFAA has and will always use our music as an outlet for anger and frustration with the world around us. Although Red Horizon is obviously a statement on what’s happening with the crisis in the middle east, this frustration resonates with all oppressed people. Everyone is entitled to personal freedom, basic human rights, safety, and the pursuit of a full and peaceful life. “The Nothing That Is” out everywhere now.
