This is sequence of short videos about character’ animation implemented in the restored “Kanaan“ project. There are four dog soldiers and one machine-gunner used on the demo level map. Every dog character has his individual snout, dying moves, shooting manner and position when he is looking around whole territory. I used few texture variants for dog’ snout animation. There are following states can be shown on the snout: angry mimics (fire, hits), eyes closed when character is died, eye moves and blinks when character looks around. In the next video you can see variants of dying moves including blood-death via dismemberment originally planned for sniper mode in 1998.
