[ENG BELOW] Pieśń o Postatnicy - Przodownicy pracy w kontekście tradycyjnego obrzędu żniwnego Słowian. Pierwsza żniwiarka jest uosobieniem bogini płodności, swoim śpiewem i rytmem prowadzi grupę żniwiarzy, którzy sierpami “odcinają głowy“ zboża (tego, co z Boga). Następnie Postatnica, z dumą niosąc na głowie koronę dożynkową oraz ostatni snop skoszony z pola zwany “przepiórką“, zbliża się do Gospodarza. W symbolicznej chwili wirują wspólnie w tańcu przekazując sobie moc płodności i urodzaju. | [ENG] Song of the Postatnica - Forewoman of Labor in the Context of the Traditional Slavic Harvest Ritual.** The first reaper embodies the goddess of fertility, leading the group of reapers with her song and rhythm as they “cut off the heads“ of the grain (that which comes from God) with their sickles. Then, the Postatnica, proudly carrying the harvest crown on her head and the last sheaf cut from the field called the “quail,“ approaches the Host. In a symbolic moment, they whirl together in a dance, transferring to each other the power of fertility and abundance.
