At the 2021 European Youth Championships in Varazdin (CRO), Annett Kaufmann and her Romanian partner Bianca Mei Rosu met the Ukrainian duo Anastasiia Khachaturova/Veronika Matiunina in the quarterfinals (QF) of the cadet girl’s doubles (CGD) event. As there is no third place playoff, this was the match to win to reach the medal rostrum.
