A free-spirited violist has escaped from the symphony orchestra and is ruffling the hair of the 90s contemporary jazz scene like a fresh breeze, her name is Debbie Spring. The beautifully talented violist from the Miami area was initially a member of Ira Sullivan's 'Strings Attached'... then in 1990, released this criminally underrated debut album, with some super fine grooves all throughout. This album had a bit of airplay on KTWV back in the day, before being swept under the rug. This is definitely a rare, highly overlooked gem in my book! 1. Out Of The Blue 0:00 2. Ocean Drive 4:06 3.
