Spain: Emergency crews rush to La Palma eruption as lava nears sea

Subscribe to our channel! Mandatory credit: UME Emergency services were seen rushing to the site of the recent volcanic eruption in La Palma on Tuesday, amid fears that the lava may reach the sea. Local officials have said toxic gases could be released if the lava mixes with the sea water. Lava and smoke could be seen spewing from the volcano, whilst emergency staff drove vehicles along ashen roads to help residents retrieve their belongings.
