This interview brought to you by the NAAC was recorded on Jan. 17 2018 at David Lange's studio in Edgewood, WA. David Lange began playing accordion at the age of five, and continued to play into his late teen years. He gradually switched to keyboards and toured with a number of bands. Growing tired of the road he set up a small garage recording studio in Tacoma in 1980. He moved to his new studio in Edgewood, WA in 1990 and continues to record acoustic music there. As an engineer he was sometimes called on to add a keyboard or accordion part to a song. This was the case when he played on Pearl Djangos 1997 recording, 'Mystery Pacific’. He played on all their subsequent recordings and joined the group in 2007. Along with playing on 10 Pearl Django CDs he has played accordion on countless other projects. He recorded his first solo project, ' Almost Home' in 2007 and his second solo project, ‘Mélange' will be released in January 2017. If you like what you hear please lik
