Which Country Subdivision has the most population? By this I mean which state, province, or region of a country has the highest population? At first, you would probably think it is something like California or Texas, as they have 39 million and 29 million people respectively, and are the most populated states in the U.S. Or, you might think of China, as it is home to many highly populated provinces, and its three most populated provinces (Guangdong, Shandong, Henan) all have close to 100 million people. However, there are 3 states in India with close to 120 million people: Bihar, Maharashtra, and with an incredible 237 million people, is Uttar Pradesh, a state smaller than Wyoming, with more people than countries like Russia and Brazil. #shorts #geography
