India, the Tightrope Walkers of the Himalayas | Deadliest Journeys

In the Indian Himalayas, during the winter, the valleys are almost cut off from the rest of the country. When spring arrives, families who have left for warmer regions return to their villages to cultivate the fields. The journey lasts several days and you have to have a strong heart. The bus drivers graze the walls and the precipices with their feet on the ground on roads barely wider than their machines. The truck drivers who supply the lost towns of the Himalayas play tightrope walkers on passes at an altitude of 4,000 m for miserable wages.
