068 Router plane rescue

Some tools deserve for the rescue. Even when the tool is not so useful, it can give you the lesson and that's the goal in that project. I've always wondered how that high angle routers works (60 degrees), but i've never had a chance to check it. Since i got that plane i felt temted to rescue it and lern my lesson. I stated the plane is good only for shallow dados or tenons cheeks in hard wood, but it's not comfortable to use - need to keep an eye on the the same level to see the iron or work “blind“. I'm gonna keep it as a comparmison to other router planes, and for a beauty of it :) As the iron i used an old broken paring chisel made by WARD. I noticed that the tang is almost the same hard as the edge, so it will be enough for this job. I cutted the tang and regrind the bevel without loosing hardness. Oh, the wood i used was boxwood, but you probably know it ;) I've experimented with lighting (less light), so the video looks a little bit different. What do you t
