We will also print out the latency/ping time for the user to see. We can ping an ip address in C# by using the Ping class to send an IMCP echo message to a remote computer and receive a corresponding ICMP echo reply message from the remote computer. We can use a PingReply object to store the results of a ping send. After we have stored the results of our ping in the PingReply object, we can check the time taken/latency in milliseconds. We can return a -1 if something goes wrong with the ping attempt. Thanks a lot for watching this tutorial on how to ping an ip address using C# and getting the ping time/latency.
