Cyclone Mocha in Myanmar and Bangladesh has just made landfall! Hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated from the coasts of Myanmar and Bangladesh as Cyclone Mocha approaches, the region’s most powerful cyclone in over a decade. “Supercyclone“, the wind of which is up to 240 kilometers per hour. The cyclone, a Category 4 Saffir-Simpson storm, was expected to weaken before making landfall between Cox’s Bazar on Sunday. Forecasters have predicted a storm surge up to almost 12 feet in Bangladesh. The seaport of Cox’s Bazar was ordered to raise the 10th Great Peril signal. The cyclone is expected to bring heavy rain that could trigger landslides. The Myanmar Red Cross Society said it was “preparing to respond to a major emergency.“ It is expected that today (May 14) it will continue its development in a north-north-west direction and cross the Cox’s Bazar-North coast of Myanmar from 9:00 to 15:00. #cyclone #mocha #cyclonemocha #myanmar #bangladesh #flood #thunderstorm #tropical #earthquake #wind #storm #news #hailstorm #weather The channel lists natural disasters such as: 1) Emergency geological situations: earthquake, volcanic eruption, mud, landslide, landslide, avalanche; 2) Emergency hydrological situations: flood, tsunami, limnological disaster, flood, flood; 3) Fires: forest fire, peat fire; 4) Meteorological emergencies: Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Hail, Drought, Tornado, Hail, Hurricane, Tsunami, Storm, Thunderstorm, Storm.
