The psoas march is one of the best exercises for strengthening the hip flexors and abdominals. Many athletes believe their hip flexors are tight when in fact they are often weak. This exercise does great at helping these athletes move and function better. Keep your back flat as you alternate kicking one leg out at a time. The other thigh should remain vertical with the knee bent to 90 degrees the entire time.
