(tw for suicide) The song is about a real little girl (rorochan_1999) who did livestream herself jumping to her death. I initially felt conflicted about this song because in a way, I felt like it capitalized on or romanticized the tragedy. But it is actually because of the song that more attention was brought to the case and information regarding her internet presence was discovered. Before that, the tragedy was almost forgotten about. I also feel that songs about such things are important so that people going through it won't feel so alone or misunderstood as rorochan did. I don't think the song has come from a place of sensationalism, but rather a sense of sympathy in relating to her position. So, I hope that if you relate to her feelings that you can see by example that she was never alone in her feelings. It's disrespectful in my opinion for people to aestheticize the event or “kin“ rorochan or anything like that. I recently lost someone to suicide and I can't describe how disturbing that would be. I think of both my friend, rorochan, and even my own feelings when making this. So please don't be disrespectful -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've had this ust completed for awhile, but I had no illustration for it so that's why I'm only releasing it now. This song is very tragic and I have somewhat conflicting feelings about it, but it's also very cathartic and really captures the feeling of a type of familiar trauma, so it has a place in my heart. I also made the cover when I was really really mentally unwell so I was like, “maybe I shouldn't cus it's bad vibes“ but now I'm fine so like whatever LKDKL. It's a bit messy cus of that, though. Some of it is slightly off time, but it's easy to chop around. I made the off vocal artificially with vocal remover, I left it in the folder. The song also has no actual harms, so I just rendered the melody with other utau to create a “chorus“ effect similar to the original song.
