Round 4 of the 2024 Redline Oil AMA National Enduro Series presented by MSR and Beta Motorcycles took place at the historic Rocky Mountain ATV MC Cherokee National Enduro in Greensboro, GA. With rain earlier in the week, and great weather on race day fast racing action was expected as Josh Tothe took his third consecutive win on the morning, the air was filled with excitement as young riders geared up, with determination to send it in the trees of Georgia. Saturday afternoon, our youngest riders set out for the KTM balance bike race. Sunday morning, the time rolled over to 9:01 and the main event was on. Tothe came out in the first 10 mile section and put in a commanding lead of 43 seconds right from the get go. Tothe was then able to build the lead by winning 5 of the 6 counted test after Test 7 was thrown out on the day. By days end, Tothe won by 1 minute and 28 seconds. Second overall on the day was FMF Factory KTM rider Johnny G. After missing the previous round due to injury, Johnny was able to come back swinging to grab the runner up position. Rocky Mountain ATV MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki rider, Steward Baylor Jr took the third spot on the Overall Podium. First place in the N E PRO 2 class and eighth overall was Nathaniel, ‘Bubz’ Tasha. Bubz broke the winning streak Grant Davis has had this season and put his AM-Pro Yamaha on the top step. FMF Factory KTM Landers Racing rider Grant Davis was battling some broken ribs and was able to still manage second place in the N E PRO 2 class and ninth overall. Wrapping up the podium for N E PRO 2 and his first NEPG race of the year was Tyler Palmer aboard his Palmer motorsports Husqvarna. All of our Women’s Elite riders had great speed all day, out of them Rocky Mountain ATV MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki rider Rachel Archer was the fastest grabbing her fourth straight win of the year, finishing 2 minutes ahead of anyone in her class. Second place in the Women’s Elite class was Rachel Gutish putting a solid ride down all day. Enduro Engineering GasGas rider Shelby Turner managed to fill the final podium spot up in third place. Enduro Engineering GasGas rider Josh Toth now has a 21 point lead in the series standings over Steward Baylor Jr. We will see everyone at the next round of the 2024 Redline Oil AMA National Enduro Series in Wellston, Ohio.
