24-hour summer sunlight filmed at Scott Base Antarctica in January at the peak of summer. Filmed with Samsung Gear 360 video camera, air temperatures were about -5C, and an external USB battery was used to keep the camera powered. Alas the camera had a tendency to blow out the highlights, so the sun has a tendency to get lost in the clouds. If anyone is wondering why there are a bunch of comments questioning the authenticity of this video and others I have posted that show 24hr sunlight, they are flat earthers. They get upset about videos showing 24hr sunlight in Antarctica because it completely disproves their model of the earth. Strangely none of them have taken me up on my offer of full travel reimbursement if they go there on a cruise ship to the same location and show the sun does not do this :)
