We got a call about a stud colt that was spotted by itself with no herd or momma. It wasn't from anyone local's corral and no horses could be seen in the area. It was unknown if he was abandoned by his herd or if his mare had been taken down by a predator. We brought him back to the ranch and got him started on foal milk replacer via a foal bottle. We’d like to get him used to drinking from a bucket in the future but for now it’s good to get the nutrients in him. For now we’re keeping him by himself in the horse trailer before introducing him to any other horses. ——————————————————————— Welcome to The Flying L Ranch YouTube channel!
