The truth is, every actor is unique. Some actors are lucky enough to get cast in a role that makes them iconic. Others, not so much. In fact, there are some actors who have had the great misfortune of being miscast in a television show or movie. Maybe it was tensions on set. Maybe it was drama with other actors. Or maybe it’s just that they weren’t right for the part from the get-go. Whatever the reason, it’s not as uncommon as you’d think. There have been plenty of movies and television shows through the years that have recast for a variety of reasons. Take The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, for instance. The character of Vivian Banks was recast halfway through due to the original actress having issues working with Will Smith. In other cases, it might be a scheduling issue. For instance, Lacey Chabert was originally cast as Meg in Family Guy, but had to give up the role to pursue an education and another television show. In some cases, the character was recast so young, no one really noticed. How about Morgan in Boy Meets World? Did you even know she was recast?
