DONALD Trump was rushed to safety as the Secret Service “opened fire at a gunman“ in a SECOND assassination attempt against the former President. The Republican presidential candidate, 78, was at the National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, when shots were heard in his vicinity. The FBI has now confirmed that Sunday's incident was an “apparent assassination attempt“. An AK-47-style rifle, two backpacks and a GoPro camera were recovered from a bush where the suspect was seen, according to law enforcement officials. Details and background on the suspect shooter are yet to be released by West Palm Beach cops. The FBI, who is now in charge of the investigation, said that multiple teams, including bomb technicians, are involved in the probe.
