Hoy quiero mostraros la Masterclass de desconchones y herramientas que impartí en el XVI Concurso de Agoncillo. En este vídeo, muestro técnicas fáciles y efectivas para estas dos fases importantes de nuestros proyectos. Empiezo con cómo crear madera realista y óxido en las herramientas, utilizando colores de la línea Oilbrusher. También os muestro una variedad de opciones para los efectos de desconchado empleando pinturas acrílicas, incluyendo su aplicación con esponja y pincel. Muestro cómo añadir volumen y profundidad a los efectos, utilizando varios colores. Así mismo hablo de la importancia de la asimetría para crear el mejor resultado. También se pueden utilizar las pinturas acrílicas como base y simular los efectos de desconchones con Oilbrusher, un sistema muy útil para realizar arañazos y desconchones precisos gracias a su mayor tiempo de secado y a la facilidad para corregirlos. A lo largo del vídeo verás ejemplos de mis modelos terminados para apreciar claramente dónde y cómo utilizar estas técnicas y encajarlas en el proceso de pintura. In this video, I demonstrate easy and effective techniques for these two important parts of our projects. I begin with how to create realistic wood and rust on tools using colours from the versatile Oilbrusher line. Before moving on to a variety of techniques for chipping effects using acrylic paints, including both sponge and brush application. I show how to add volume and depth to chipping effects using multiple colours and discuss the importance of asymmetry in creating the best result. Oilbrusher colours can also be used to simulate chipping effects on top of an acrylic base, as shown in this masterclass. This is a useful method for precise scratches and chips due to the Oilbrusher’s longer working time and ease of correction. Throughout the masterclass, I show examples from my finished models so you can fully appreciate where these techniques are used and how they fit into the painting and weathering process.
