Lithuanian Aviation Museum - a museum located in the southern part of Kaunas, in Aleksote, ). The founder of the museum is the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. Lithuanian aviators in 1971. started to create the public Sports Aviation Museum, opened in 1983. Based on it, the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania in 1990 February 19 established the Lithuanian Technical Museum. in 1995 February 1 the museum is named the Lithuanian Aviation Museum. The Lithuanian Aviation Museum collects exhibits related to aviation, of which nearly 20,000 are collected. Of them, more than 40 flying machines.
