PPP has been manufacturing sheep Jetters since the early 1980's. The new electric eye sensor Jetter is part of on-going development and innovation to meet customers' needs for the control of flystrike and parasites. PPP Supply these Sheep Jetters throughout New Zealand and all over the world. Te-Pari has now come on board as our agent for Australia showing just how well made the units are. The unit comes complete with all necessary pipework including cam-lock fittings, intake filter, and a Honda petrol engine with a Davey Fire Fighter pump. Features • Being quicker than hand jetting, an automatic Jetter allows for a more timely and efficient operation. • Spray bar orientation based on research by NSW Department of Primary Industries Agricultural Engineering Research Unit. • Electric sensor activation gives a clutter free race reducing effects to the flow on animals. • Battery operated allow use from any remote location. • Tapered V frame to centralize animals of different sizes and reduce the effect of tunneling. • Constructed from high grade stainless steel allowing for a compact, lightweight design at only 48kg. • No moving parts requiring maintenance with visual pressure gauge and minimal plumbing and fittings. • Larger solid stream spray nozzles operating at lower pressures produce less spray drift reducing the human health risk of pesticide exposure. Ease of use • No adjustment required for dipping different sized sheep • Camlock fittings allow for quick setup • Non slip mesh floor • Simple lightweight design allowing ease of movement • Easily connects to yard gates including Pratly yards Operating Principles • Effective jetting requires wetting the sheep to skin level in those areas most likely to be affected by flystrike i.e. from the poll, over the shoulders, down the backline, over the rump and around the breech and pizzle. • Wetting to skin level is required for maximum length of protection. • Automatic Jetters are an alternative to the spray-on backlines and the much slower practice of hand jetting. Being quicker than hand jetting, they allow more timely jetting operations. • Design improvements increase the total amount of pesticide retained in the wool and the amount deposited at skin level If you want any more info head over to to check it out further.
