The Pittsburgh Penguins took on the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena before embarking on a six-game road trip. After a quiet first period from both sides, the second was filled with excitement including five combined goals (two coming from Bryan Rust) and a Pittsburgh goalie change. Trailing 3-2 heading into the third, the Penguins jumped out to a 4-3 lead thanks to a pair of back-to-back goals from Sidney Crosby and Evan Rodrigues. Brock McGinn tallied another goal in for good measure as the Penguins completed their rally with a 5-3 win, extending their win streak to 9 games.
