07-11-2024 Lyndon, VT - Major River Flooding - Vehicles Submerged, Roads Blocked, Driver Missing

***NOT FOR BROADCAST*** Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. brett@ Video from day two of major flooding in northeastern Vermont as remnants from Hurricane Beryl dumped over 5 inches of rain in some parts of Vermont. The Passumpsic River flooded its banks to an extent higher than the 2023 floods, crippling the town. US 5, VT 122, and many side streets were flooded with feet of water. Lyndonville Fire, Vermont Urban Search & Rescue, Vermont State Fire Marshalls, the Vermont National Guard, Vermont Fish & Wildlife, and the Lebanon and Hanover NH Fire Departments were stationed in town for numerous water rescues, including a missing driver.
