Pathecolor (sic) item - early stencil colour. “A volcanic cone, now long extinct, forms the setting of Crater Lake in Oregon, one of Nature's rarest scenic gems.“ Scenic shot of the lake, with mountains beyond. Camera pans across lake to show volcanic type rock in middle and mountains surrounding it. M/S of mountainside with lake in foreground. M/S of lake lapping against the shore. “The placid lake now rests quietly in the teacup-shaped crater which once was a seething cladron of molten rock.“ [I presume there is a typo in this intertitle - perhaps it should have been “seething cauldron“?] M/S of the lake, water flows away from the camera, perhaps shot from the back of a boat.
