Russia is Pissed !!! Thousands of U.S. Tanks are Rushing to Enter Ukraine The Pentagon has accelerated the delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine. The United States (US) chose to send an updated older model that could be ready sooner. The Pentagon said on Tuesday that the decision aims to bring the 70-ton combat power to the war zone in the fall. The original plan was to deliver 31 units of the newer M1A2 Abrams to Ukraine. But shipments of these newest units can take a year or two to assemble and ship. To address this issue, officials said, a decision was made to deliver thousands of older versions of the M1A1 that could be drawn from the army’s stockpile. US officials say the M1A1 will also be easier for Ukrainian troops to learn to use and maintain against Russian forces. Abrams is part of the medium- and long-term military support that the US is providing to Ukraine.
