I found this rusty bayonet on Etsy app and I decided to do a restoration for you guys. After the package has come to me,I saw the wood handle and I certainly couldn't keep the wood;my second decision was to do a new and cool handle with epoxy resin - so I started to work to a new restoration project. The bayonet had engraved : WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CIE SOLINGEN,so is a german bayonet. Maybe some will hate me because I used epoxy resin for a bayonet that has a history behind, but certainly this bayonet will no longer be used, and for a piece of furniture I find the use of epoxy resin in handle,very cool.
