The question we would ask the LGBTQIA community is what took so long in doing THOROUGH background checks on people? Most especially if you are going to involve yourselves with children. For us, kids should NOT be easily accessible to these people in the first place anyways. Even those of what this community caters to are getting angry at this organization.
