The amazing Jerry Lopez, who co-wrote the composition with Tomi, flawlessly sings the lead vocals. As usual, Jerry’s performance adds richness and character to the jam, this time supported by the smoking The Fat City Horns, over an arrangement by the great David Richardson, a rhythm section that includes drummer Joel Taylor, bassist Jimmy Haslip and percussionist Martin Verdonk, and the unbelievably wonderful harmonica of Tollak Ollestad, as the icing on the cake.
