Former Opel race pilot Timo Scheider and Corsa-e Rally celebrated their first meet up with a stunning fifth place in the first race of the all-electric ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup. The thrilling Rally at Germany's Stemweder Berg was the first stage of the rally season showcasing the performance and pioneering spirit of the Opel Corsa-e Rally within a field of 13 teams from five nations. Double DTM Champion and current World Rallycross Championship pilot Timo Scheider was supported by the experienced co-driver Tobias Braun in his first rally race. The guest star felt soon at home with the new surroundings and improved from stage to stage. “This result and my first rally far exceeded my expectations, it was such incredible fun” beamed Scheider.
