Power is awesome. It gives you air, which is also awesome. Pads are awesome too. They have only really become part of tricklining since around late 2009, early 2010; but they allow you to push your boundaries. With the pads Mad Rock/ Gibbon are making you can essentially customize your own slackline gym. You can take hard falls that would usually be day enders, and then get back on the line and land it. The slackline set up i have been testing is also really starting to excite me. Jan Kaeding and I developed Gibbons prototype 2“ web lock, which works like a charm. It was first tested in the Super Bowl Halftime Show. With the Web Lock, a sleeved 2“ line locker, a 9:1 pulley system to a Petzl ID as the brake, and a multiplier... 2 people can tighten 50 - 70 ft of 2“ tubular(climb spec) and have a really powerful set up. The only issue is that after you buy everything in this system, its around $1400- $1700 dollars new (not including pads.)
