This is the last single from Retro Poland Vol.2! It was a spontaneous idea and a great one for the upcoming occasion. I must confess - I hated this song before making this video, but after covering the chorus I fell in love with it. It fits the Retro Poland aesthetic like a glove and that’s what matters! It has this longing vibe, that just not every song has, and I loved every second of this production. The music video was also a thing that I thought I would hate, but I kinda liked it. Felt nostalgic in a way during filming, like I was helping my mom set up the Christmas Tree. I wanted to cast Mrokat in this music video, that’s when I came up with the idea of the “Dark Presence“. She loved it, and we incorporated it into a wholesome little story. You know how it is, it’s not about the big presents, but about taking care of each other. Have fun! Fun fact: It was 2 degrees Celsius during the house scenes. It looks nice and warm but in reality it was freezing. I could hardly play the solo because my fingers were cold from setting up the Christmas Tree. I used the old Christmas Lamps as means to heat up my fingers (because they got very warm after a few minutes). PS. Next week the full album release!
