He is Victor. In his comic book appearances, Doctor Doom is the ruler of the fictional European country of Latveria, whose goal is to bring order to humanity through world conquest. Born as the son of a poor gypsy, Doom became interested in science and magic at a young age due to his mother's past full of mystical powers and his father's healing abilities.
