Chuckii Booker, who is from Los Angeles, California, emerged in the late 1980s as a prominent R&B artist, songwriter and producer. He began recording music after being signed by his late godfather Barry White to his production company in 1984. Booker later played keyboards as a member of the short-lived band, Tease in the mid 1980s. Booker released his first album, Chuckii, in 1989, which fared well with the singles 'Touch', 'Don't U Know I Love U', 'That's My Honey', and 'Turned Away'. His second album, Niice 'N Wiild, was released in 1992 and yielded hit song 'Games'. Booker has since recorded and produced with several very prominent artists throughout the late 1980s and 2000s such as Troop, Janet Jackson, Miki Howard, Vanessa Williams, Angela Winbush, Lionel Richie, as well as singing background vocals. He was the musical director, producer, and keyboardist for the concert tours of the above mentioned artists. He is still an in-demand producer/musical director in R&B and Pop music.
