When I first heard Beretta was planning to release an updated version of the classic 80-series Cheetah pistol, I was cautiously optimistic. I assumed they would add an accessory rail, which would undoubtedly spoil the clean lines and minimal bulk of the original design. And I was sure it would only be offered in .380 ACP, rather than the far more interesting (and fun) .32 ACP. Turns out I was not wrong on either account. But once I got over that initial knee-jerk reaction, I warmed up to some of the more promising new features of the Beretta 80X and decided I had to try one for myself. 0:00 - Intro 0:40 - Basic Specs 2:48 - New Features 3:21 - Sights and Optics 4:15 - Magazine Compatability 4:49 - Trigger 5:34 - Safety/Decocker 7:08 - Field Stripping Tip 8:27 - Holster Fit 10:02 - Blowback Design 11:40 - Reliability 12:25 - Ballistics 13:41 - Performance Review of the classic 80-series Cheetahs: Blowback versus locked
