You can hear Hudie Devaney of Ranafast, Co Donegal singing it in Irish to Peter Kennedy and Sean O'Boyle in 1953 here: This recording of Bridget O'Malley is taken from June Tabor’s performance at the Folkfestival in Köln in 1990, accompanied by Mark Emerson and Giles Levin on fiddle. She never produced a studio recording of the song. Silly Wizard sang another English translation on their 1979 album So Many Partings.
