Francis Ford Coppola is really one of the most influential personalities and each of his works is a masterpiece and a grand event for critics and cinema fans. He has six Oscar Awards and dozens of others. Even if he shot only The Godfather, it would be enough to include his name in the list of cinematic art. Francis’s father, Carmine Coppola is known first of all of as the music creator for The Godfather. It should also be noticed that he always believed and supported his son’s dreams and ideas about theatre. He died in 1991 at the age of 80. The mother, Italia Coppola met her husband who was a flutist in her father’s theatre. She was not only an attentive and caring mom but also acted some roles in son’s movies. She is most known as an author of a pasta cookbook. She died naturally at 91 without suffering from any illnesses. Ford remembers her as a mother who was always with young soul and positive attitude.
