By the time XR4i launched Sierra sales were struggling but this ad had already been shot. It’s now “Man and high-performance machine in perfect harmony”. Time and budgets were tight so the brochure agency took the unusual step to use images from this TV ad. The driver was journalist/author Jeremy Walton shot in California.
